Shortly thereafter, we were ordered by a cease-and-desist letter from Innovair to stop using the Innova name in the US to avoid confusion with their brand. We agreed to comply and changed our name to Ephoca.
Today, we’re pleased to share that the legal matter has been resolved. We are returning to our original name: INNOVA

INNOVA launches in the United States, introducing a new category of all-in-one heat pump systems with no outdoor unit—bringing European innovation to North America.
2021
Following a legal settlement with Innovair, the brand is forced to transition from INNOVA to Ephoca in the U.S. market. While the name changed, the technology, team, and mission remained exactly the same.
